The legal stuff: The WoD Pittsburgh chat rooms are offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of WoDPittsburgh’s Site and Usage rules. Use of any of the chat rooms, constitutes your agreement to said terms and conditions. This agreement applies to all administrators, storytellers, and players alike. Should you know of anyone who is in violation of the Player Code of Conduct, please contact the appropriate Storyteller or any member of the Administration team Now the rules: 1. White Wolf’s WoD is a dark game that deals with dark content. Therefore, all players must be over the age of 16, regardless of their country of residence. Players under the age of 18 must have parental consent to participate in the site. By creating an account at wodpitt and/or logging into the chat rooms, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement. 2. No cybersex or IC rape within the site. What consenting adult players roleplay in their own private venue is their own business, and you are free to role play your characters as you wish on the messenger service of your choice but the chat rooms themselves are never to go past PG-13 content. Keep in mind that all chat activity is logged, private messages included, and the logs are monitored daily. On site cybersex will result in the desanctioning of involved characters. Likewise, demanding or coercing another player to engage in a sex/rape scene against their will, even in private, will result in permanent desanctioning. 3. No sexual harassment, racial slurs/epithets, or any other form of OOC bigotry will be tolerated. Hate propaganda, libel, and slander are not "opinions" protected under the first amendment. There is no right to free speech in a private-owned chat environment. Any OOC harassment and/or slander in the chat rooms are grounds for the immediate desanctioning of the offending player's character(s). A second offense of this nature will result in complete banning from the chats, with no possibility of appeal. 4. Keep IC and OOC completely separate. Actions taken against a character should not be considered an attack on the player. Likewise, OOC friendships or rivalries should not extend to IC interaction. If a situation starts to make you uncomfortable, be honest and keep it from getting out of hand. If, for any reason, another player makes you feel unsafe OOC, report the situation to an ST or Assistant ST or the Administration immediately. | |||||||||
